--------------------------------------------- PLANET ANOMALY ALERT 2004 #1 --------------------------------------------- Start of 2004 Season Dear Colleagues, the PLANET collaboration will soon start its 2004 season observations. With this e-mail, we would like to check the operation of our Anomaly Alert mailing list. Some outdated e-mail addresses have been updated to the best of our knowledge and some "usual suspects" have been added to the list. If you prefer not to receive further PLANET Anomaly Alerts, please send an e-mail to planet@iap.fr. We would like to use this opportunity to thank OGLE and MOA for their ongoing efforts on providing a large number of microlensing alerts. Their splendid work is strongly appreciated and constitutes a prerequisite for a success of the PLANET campaign. Moreover, we are pleased that OGLE, MOA, and MicroFUN make preliminary versions of their reduced data publicly available in near-real time. With kind permission, PLANET will publish these data together with its own measurements on regularly updated lightcurve plots during the 2004 season.
