--------------------------------------------- PLANET ANOMALY ALERT 2004 #13 (issued 19-Jul, 23:13 UT) --------------------------------------------- Caustic exit in OGLE 2004-BLG-309 Dear Colleagues, Recent data collected by PLANET with the SAAO 1.0m telescope at Sutherland (South Africa) indicates that a caustic exit has occured for event OGLE 2004-BLG-309. The peak magnification occurred at HJD = 2453206.31 +/- 0.01, from which time it has fallen in brightness by ~ 2.5 magnitudes and is still falling. Further intensive observations are encouraged in order to measure the time of caustic exit. Event: OGLE 2004-BLG-309 RA (J2000): 17:58:28.26 Dec (J2000): -28:03:29.0 The baseline I magnitude reported by the OGLE team is 18.20.
