--------------------------------------------- PLANET ANOMALY UPDATE 2006 #6-2 (issued 2-Jul, 02:25 UT) --------------------------------------------- Large deviation in OGLE 2006-BLG-335 Dear Colleagues, New data collected at the Danish 1.54m at ESO La Silla (Chile) and the Canopus 1.0m (near Hobart, Tasmania) confirm the recent rapid brightening in this event anounced by OGLE. From our Tasmanian data we report that the probable caustic crossing began at HJD = 2453918.22 +/- 0.02. Our most recent data from La Silla indicate that the event is still brightening at HJD = 2453918.6 and is now approximately 1.8 magnitudes brighter than a day ago. A light curve plot as well as data is available on our webpages. Event: OGLE 2006-BLG-335 RA (J2000): 17:52:19.15 Dec (J2000): -30:39:39.6 The baseline I magnitude reported by the OGLE team is 18.746 +/- 0.003.
