1998 PLANET Finding charts
This list may be incomplete.
G-zipped postscript finding charts for events being monitored
by PLANET can be downloaded by clicking on the
desired event.
MACHO events:
These charts have been extracted from the MACHO public
database, and show the event before magnification (ie, at baseline)
on a MACHO R-band frame.
The source star for the event is at the center of the crosshairs.
The largest dimension of the chart is 478 pixels, with each pixel
representing 0.63 arcseconds. North is up; East to the left.
OGLE events:
OGLE finding charts are 1 arcminute on a side;
North is up and East to the left. If the event was first announced by
MACHO, the finding chart is a MACHO chart and is described above.
EROS events:
EROS finding charts are 5 arcminute on a side;
North is up and East to the left. If the event was first announced by
MACHO or OGLE, the finding chart is from that team instead,
and is described above.
